Development Description: The proposed development will consist of: • A new Sensory and Remembrance Garden accessible to pedestrians via the L22082 road and the associated public footpath located along this road. • The scheme will also involve installing seating, hard and soft landscaping and all other associated structures and works in relation to the construction of the Sensory and Remembrance Garden. • Existing exercise area with Muga rubber surface to be retained and provision of earth berm to boundary of exercise area. • Existing semi-mature trees and recently planted trees are to be retained and replanted wherever possible. • All associated site works The Development has been subject to an Appropriate Assessment Screening in accordance with Article 6(3) of the EU Habitats Directive (Directive 92/43/EEC) and the Planning and Development Acts 2000-2023 and screening for Environmental Impact Assessment under EIA Directive 2011/92/E4 as amended by Directive 2014/52/E4. In accordance with Article 81 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001-2025.
